André Barrette is a seasoned finance and administration professional with a solid accounting background and an abundance of experience in key roles within various companies. With an impressive career spanning almost three decades, André has built his reputation on his analytical capabilities, his ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers, as well as on his management skills.
After graduating in accounting, André began his career as an auditor with two renowned accounting firms, honing his financial analysis skills over a period of six years. He then moved into a management position with a steel distribution company, which, under his leadership, experienced spectacular growth. Under his management, the company's sales rose from $85 million, with around five branches, to $400 million, expanding its presence in the northern United States, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. André went on to hold key positions with renowned companies, including Rolls-Royce and Stageline. As General Manager of a software development company for the daycare sector, he led it through two acquisitions, demonstrating his leadership and ability to guide organizations to success.
André has been with Scéno Plus since January 2012. Now the firm's Vice-President - Finance and Administration, he plays an essential role in budget monitoring, resource management, administrative management of human resources, as well as management of legal and financial operations.
