The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Initial Project
When Park Place Entertainment launched its vast project to upgrade the hotel and entertainment infrastructure of the Caesars Palace Casino in Las Vegas in 2000, it approached Scéno Plus to develop an architectural concept and design for a venue. The theatre was to be tailor-made for Céline Dion, marking her return to the stage.

Named the Colosseum and loosely inspired by the Roman Colosseum, the circular building adjacent to the casino stands 37m high and 77m in diameter. The venue consists of an orchestra level with a seating capacity of 2,283; a first balcony of 745 seats, and a second balcony of 1,074 seats.
