Lac Leamy Casino
Invited to be a member of the team of professionals and consultants entrusted with the enhancement of the Lac Leamy Casino facility, Scéno Plus took up the challenge with enthusiasm. A vast 1,000-seat theatre was designed, capable of presenting a large variety of productions, while maintaining a very warm and intimate atmosphere.
Context
- Lake Leamy Casino decided to reinforce its position as a major tourist attraction, a project to build a new hotel destination and a luxurious showroom emerged.
- Creation of an up scale cultural facility.
- Completed in 12 months.
Intimacy
- By designing a very wide and shallow room, with only one balcony, this conveys a very intimate atmosphere to the venue.
- The objective was to keep all spectators as close to the stage as possible.
Interior design
- The intimacy is also reinforced by the sensuality and comfort of the interior design: carpeting, woodworks, dark warm colors and large comfortable seats.
Transformability
- Removing the seats at the orchestral level and installing risers easily creates a 530-seat cabaret, with 266 spectators at the mezzanine level.
