INTERMEDIATE BIM MODELER AND COORDINATOR with 5 to 8 years of experience
Your Role
Reporting to the head of the architecture studio, the BIM Modeling and Coordination Specialist contributes to the production, coordination, and quality control of digital models for Scéno Plus projects. As the studio’s leading BIM expert, this person ensures compliance with company standards, oversees the technical coordination of models, and supports teams in making optimal use of tools and best practices. Working closely with the architecture, interior design, project management, and specialized systems teams, this person ensures the quality, consistency, and integration of digital deliverables at every stage of project development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update architectural BIM (Revit) models throughout all design phases
- Prepare all technical documents, plans, sections, elevations, and bill of materials required for project deliverables
- Ensure the application, integrity, and compliance with Scéno Plus’s BIM standards, templates, and procedures
- Coordinate internal and external collaboration and the exchange of digital models, particularly through Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Identify, analyze, and resolve multidisciplinary coordination conflicts during technical meetings
- Perform quality control, compliance verification, and periodic audits of models and deliverables prior to release
- Develop and optimize parametric families, Revit libraries, and the automation of production processes
- Seamlessly integrate specialized equipment into architectural models
- Support, train, and mentor internal staff in the use of BIM tools and methodologies
- Conduct the necessary technical research to identify solutions tailored to the issues encountered during the project
- Assist project managers with technical planning, secure archiving, and monitoring industry technology trends
Candidate Profile we’re looking for
- Degree or relevant qualification in a field related to design and construction, including architecture, architectural technology, interior design, industrial design, or any other related discipline
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work in a team, collaborate, and communicate effectively
- Diligence, independence, and attention to detail
- Adaptability, organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Bilingualism (French and English) in both spoken and written communication
- Practical knowledge of the performing arts industry (an asset)
Technical Skills
- Excellent proficiency in Revit
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination
