JUNIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
Under the direction of the Head of the Architectural Department, the Junior Architectural Designer participates in the development of architectural concepts for theaters and similar venues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PERTAINING TO THE POSITION
- Assists the Senior and Intermediate designers in the development of the architectural and scenographic program;
- Develops and executes the concepts;
- Participates in the production of presentation documents;
- Calculates the surface areas of projects at different stages of their development;
- Creates the different seating configurations required;
- Participates in the production of plans and design details;
- Implement acoustic recommendations in plans, elevations and other relevant documents;
- Participates in the preparation of material and furniture specification sheets;
Ensures proper filing and archiving of printed and electronic documents according to departmental standards.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE BASE
Minimum of 2 years experience in the realization of non-residential architectural projects;
- University degree in architecture;
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software and MS Office suite;
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken;
Mastery of Photoshop.
