The Star Gold Coast
The Theatre, part of the Star Gold Coast Hotel and Casino complex, needed to be revamped and actualized in a drastic way to project a modern image and draw a new clientele to the resort.
The management team had the firm objective to attract several large touring rock concerts every month. In order to meet this principal objective, a complete refurbishment of the existing theatre has been undertaken.
Mandate
- Increase the capacity from 1,125 seats to more than 2,150 seated guests.
- Redesign the theatre lobbies to accommodate an augmented patron’s circulation.
- Improve the technical infrastructures and stage equipments such as the projection booth, the mix position and the control booth.
Scenography
- A second level balcony has been designed to double the venue’s capacity.
- The theatre has the ability to alter the size of the stage to suit different kind of shows.
VIP
- The renovated venue offers new VIP hospitality rooms for pre and post event functions.
- The VIP booths offer a unique entertainment experience with great sightlines, private bars and high-quality flat screens.
Lobbies
- The theatre lobbies are now featuring a rejuvenated look.
- Modern and filled with saturated red color tones, they are the perfect space to grab a cocktail and gather with your friend before a show.
