The Star Sydney
Located on Darling Harbour, in the heart of Sydney, right on the beautiful waterfront, The Star hotel complex made a move to attract a new clientele that wanted a complete live entertainment experience.
The Star Entertainment Group thus turned to Scéno Plus, and entrusted us with the delicate mandate of designing a multifunctional space with a capacity of 3,000 seats (4,000 in general admission) on the roof of their existing casino, the second biggest in Australia.

Highlights
Context
- The multifunctional room, which was inaugurated in January 2013, complete the entertainment profile of The Star by allowing them to host internationally renowned artists, while also welcoming conferences and special events throughout the year.
Multipurpose
- This extremely versatile room can accommodate a wide range of events such as major concerts, international conferences and trade shows.
- Using operable acoustic partitions, the room can be divided into two separate soundproofed sections, which allows for the holding of simultaneous events.
Features
- Banquets that can host more than 840 people can be organized and are facilitated by the presence of an innovatively designed kitchen situated at the main floor level.
- The mobile ceilings decorated with custom fixtures can be lowered to maintain a warm atmosphere in banquet configuration.
